Beyond The Streets - New York City 2019

Beyond the Streets is a celebration of graffiti, street art, fine art and design. It is an amazing body of work that includes some serious legends like Eric Haze, Barry McGee and the Guerrilla Girls. Also, on site is a 3 decade retrospective of Shepard Fairey’s OBEY artwork.

I’d been looking forward to this exhibit since I saw photos of it in LA. I’m glad it made it’s way to NY and it was worth the wait. My favorite parts of the exhibit were definitely the work by Cleon Peterson, DABSMYLA, and HuskMitNavn. Go look them all up on instagram. The exhibit had recently announced a FREE day, so my girlfriend and I hopped on the train and spent a nice Wednesday afternoon looking at some incredible art. I usually try to keep my iPhone in my pocket when I visit museums or art shows but I couldn’t help it this time and took way too many photos. Check out some of them below.
